College Graduates 2026!

We are so proud and happy for our college graduates. This year two of our graduates completed their college programs and are looking forward to the next step in life!

Meet Post - 2026 College graduate in nursing

When Post’s grandparents who were her only caretakers got sick, she thought her future was lost. But amidst the potential tragedy, God showed her a glimpse of her calling through a compassionate tribal nurse. Post knew she wanted to become a nurse, but as a vulnerable hilltribe youth, the path to higher education felt impossible.

She needed a guide and a plan. When Post came to the House of Love, our community wrapped their arms around her. She received the structural, financial, and spiritual plan she needed to pursue her university degree in Chiang Mai, matching her with generous sponsors who believed in her vision.

Post did the hard work—years of grueling late-night studying—and avoided the cycle of exploitation and poverty many people fall into. This month, she graduated and accepted a job in the Pediatric Ward of a local hospital!

Post is officially a nurse, ready to be the hands and feet of Jesus to sick children. Your support of Hope for Hilltribes makes stories like Post’s possible. Thank you for being the answer to her prayers.

And our graduate with a degree in Japanese Language, Soi!

When Soi arrived at the House of Love at age 15, she was simply glad to have a stable community around her, a community which helped her develop a dream of becoming a translator. But a dream without a plan is just a wish, and the barriers facing indigenous youth threatened to keep that dream grounded.

Two years ago, she received an opportunity and the Hope for Hilltribes community stepped up. A campaign was launched to allow her to become an exchange student in Japan.

Armed with your support, Soi took action. She negotiated with university officials to slash costs, worked part-time jobs, and studied relentlessly so she could live in Japan for a year and learn the language.

Today, Soi is reaping the rewards of success! She is able to speak her native Karen, Thai, Japanese, and a little bit of English. Just a few days ago she officially accepted a position at a Japanese-focused care facility in Thailand, with the opportunity to transition to the company’s sister home in Japan. Your belief in her didn’t just change her circumstances—it launched a career. Please keep this trailblazing young woman in your prayers!
